The Rheometer is useful to carry out the study of any of Rubber or Chemicals changed in the existing compounds. The effect caused due to change in the ingredients can be observed on the Rheometric Curve.

Test Working

• Here rubber compound placed between the two heavy plates and then the power button is pressed.
• It is fully computer operated machine
• The bottom plate is stationary but the upper plate moves downward with some rotation and temp. Approx. 180 degree Celsius.
• Standard oscillation amplitude of 0.5° arc.
• Pressure: 0 to 8000 kPa (1160 psi)
• Sample Volume should be Approx 4.5 cm3
• After testing completed it gives the result in terms of compound shear strength.
• test timing may vary according to the type of compounds.
